Made at the Lonaconing, MD Silk Mill
The mill was abandoned in 1957
Its doors locked for 55 years
A veritable time capsule

This set (color and B&W pairs) was taken in the almost totally dark lowest level of this three-story mill. Tomorrow we’ll move upstairs.

Really nice series, and I like the processing. It was interesting shooting at the mill and I can assure you mine didn’t turn out anything like yours. LoL!! Regarding using flash, did you use an external flash, or your pop up one? I don’t recall seeing an external flash on your camera.

Tom, Just the camera’s pop up flash. I’ve got to read the manual and learn to use it properly.
